File details synchronisation

Let's you mirror the list of your local files in Notion. What information is gathered? Here is an exhaustive list of file details pushed to Notion:

• File name
• Extension (e.g., png, mp4)
• File size (in bytes, e.g., 1024)
• File type (MIME type, e.g., video or audio)
• Duration (for media files like video or audio)
• File location (absolute path, e.g., /Users/you/Downloads/song.mp4)
• Parent directory location.

“Reveal in Finder” feature enables you to effortlessly access a given file in its enclosing directory, making it easy to view and navigate within.

Security

All your files are secure as we do not upload them to the cloud. Only the metadata of the files (listed above) is being pushed to Notion.

There is no involvement of any third-party cloud service. The connection is established directly between the Files to Notion app and the Notion cloud through the integration you set up on your own.
